Bryson is the global marketing leader for Google Workspace where he leads the organization’s marketing and growth functions and supports billions of consumer, small business and enterprise customers. Before moving into a leadership role with Google Workspace, Bryson worked in AI, industry, and growth marketing at Google Cloud.

Prior to joining Google in 2020, Bryson held leadership roles in marketing, sales and engineering across tech, media and politics. He was on the leadership team at Hawkfish, where he led media, data, product, and analytics, first working on the 2020 Democratic primaries, and then on the 2020 US Presidential election. Before Hawkfish, Bryson built and led the advanced advertising division for ViacomCBS (now Paramount Global), including leading the engineering, data science, ad sales research, marketing, and specialist sales organizations. While at ViacomCBS, he was a member of the founding team for OpenAP, an adtech startup that centralized audience data and segment creation for advertisers. Today, OpenAP still plays a central role in billions of dollars in television and premium video advertising.

Before working in television, Bryson held leadership roles at Microsoft over an 11 year period. He built and led the company’s ecommerce business, led consumer marketing for Surface and worked on Office, Xbox and Windows subscription services. He started his career at McAfee, ultimately leading product management across the company, and helped it grow from a security startup into a leading provider of security services for consumers and businesses.
