Hamidou Dia

Hamidou Dia leads Google Cloud Global Solution Engineering organization chartered with designing Google Cloud solutions for customers on a path to digital transformation. Hamidou came to Google as a highly regarded technologist across the Cloud technology sector to help Google Cloud customers harness the power of data, analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning when solving their digital transformation challenges.


Hamidou has applied his passion for driving positive customer outcomes to define a new set of Google Cloud solutions, well-timed for the urgency of current business challenges. Hamidou has built his solution engineering organization at Google Cloud to incorporate a business value methodology, a value advisory function and enterprise architecture principles, all focused on meeting critical customer technology transformation requirements.

Prior to Google, Hamidou was Oracle’s Senior Vice President; Chief Architect for North America, responsible for Oracle’s Cloud Platform Solution Engineering and Cloud Customer Success organizations. There, Hamidou engaged directly with North America’s top tier of CIOs and CTOs who faced significant challenges in transforming their IT environments. Hamidou led engagement teams to help these customers with urgency, bringing a modern architecture approach to solving with Oracle’s Cloud technologies, including Data Management, Analytics and Machine Learning.

Early in Hamidou’s tenure at Oracle, he pioneered the Enterprise Architecture discipline and practice, bringing a new level of strategic leadership and technical expertise to Oracle’s technology customers. He emerged as a globally recognized Cloud Architecture and Technology leader, invited to speak at Gartner and Forrester Conferences on the state of the art in Enterprise Architecture practice, Throughout his Oracle tenure, Hamidou focused solving difficult customer problems, leading large, complex, technology project implementations in Asia, Europe and in the Americas.

Hamidou is originally from Senegal in West Africa. He attended the University of Nantes in France, earning a Master in Computer Science degree. Hamidou lives in Denver with his wife Aminata and five children.
