Prior to joining CapitalG in 2025, Lani was an investment banker in Morgan Stanley’s Global Technology Group in Menlo Park, where he supported IPO and M&A work for leading software and AI infrastructure companies.

Lani graduated from Columbia University with a degree in History, and he is originally from Brooklyn, New York. Outside of work, you can find him playing basketball, lifting, or DJing sets with friends.
