Prior to joining CapitalG, Nicholas worked at Bain & Company in San Francisco, specializing in private equity commercial due diligence for technology companies. Before that, he served as an interpreter in the Korean Army. Nicholas graduated Phi Beta Kappa with both Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, where he was a Mayfield Fellow. When not investing, Nicholas enjoys running, exploring new SF neighborhoods, and attempting to cook with varying degrees of success with his cat Mandu—who serves as both his cooking critic and fire safety supervisor.
