Scott Porter leads business development at Google for ChromeOS and for the platforms and ecosystems enterprise businesses, including ChromeOS, Chrome Browser and Android. He is responsible for partnerships spanning system on chip providers (SoCs), original equipment managers (OEMs), original design managers (ODMs), carriers and application developers. Before joining Google in 2021, Scott served as vice president of business development at Box, where he led Box's strategic alliances and technology partner ecosystem.

Prior to Box, Scott spent over a decade at Hewlett-Packard (HP), where he served as vice president of strategic alliances, leading HP's partnerships with silicon providers including Intel, AMD, and the ARM partner ecosystem. He also worked across HP's PC, printing, and enterprise server, storage, and networking businesses in various capacities, including both strategy and operating roles. Prior to HP, Scott worked as a management consultant advising high-tech companies on growth strategies for Mercer Management Consulting, now part of Oliver Wyman.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering from Dartmouth College and a Masters in Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In his spare time, Scott is an avid trail runner, mountain biker and orienteer.
